Additional Information

Laila Ghorab received her undergraduate degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Maryland. During her undergraduate studies, Laila was a summer intern in the Cappell Lab in 2020 and 2021. Laila was interested in understanding how drugs could induce cellular senescence and worked on developing image analysis pipelines to quantify markers of senescence. After graduating from the University of Maryland, Laila took a position as a postbac in NIBIB and plans on attending Medical School in 2025.
