RESEARCH SUMMARY

Dr. Adrijana Crncec is interested in understanding how cancer cells respond to DNA damage during the cell cycle. She is particularly interested in the dynamic regulation of the anaphase promoting complex/cyclosome (APC/C) during G2 phase and mitosis. For her PhD, Dr. Crncec studied the non-redundant roles of Cyclins A and B during G2 and mitosis in both normal and cancer cells. Currently, as a postdoctoral fellow in the Cappell lab, she is studying the complex regulation of the APC/C and Emi1 during cell cycle progression.
