Additional Information

Gabriel Bacil is a graduate scholar in the Pathology Program (2022-2027) from São Paulo State University (UNESP, Brazil). He holds a B.S. in Biomedical Sciences (2016-2020) and M.S. in Pathology (2020-2022), both from UNESP. Gabriel joined Greten’s Lab as a Supplemental Visiting Fellow (2025-2026) supported jointly by the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP) and the Intramural Research Training Award (IRTA/NIH). His research focuses on exploring the potential interplay between obesity, metabolic dysfunction-associated fatty liver disease onset, and the hepatic tumoral microenvironment.
