The Human Microbiome in Cancer

The microbes that crowd our guts, skin and respiratory tracts have a profound impact on how our bodies function in health and disease. The microbiome, trillions of microorganisms that intermingle with each person’s cells, influences human biology in ways we are just starting to understand. Incorporating how it contributes to cancer development, prevention and treatment will lead to a more complete understanding of cancer. We invite you to meet some of our principal investigators conducting research in this area.
