Joy Awosika is a hematology & oncology fellow currently in her fellowship training at the NIH. She received her MBChB degree at the University of Cape Town in South Africa and completed residency in Internal medicine at University of Cincinnati followed by an Experimental Therapeutics fellowship at the University of Cincinnati Cancer center. Her primary career interests are GI malignancies specifically hepatocellular and biliary tract cancers, their tumor microenvironment, and immunomodulatory approaches for effective treatment.
