Additional Information

Hello! My name is Sanghyun Kim and I go by Peter. I am a research fellow In Dr. Rosenberg’s lab. I obtained a B.S. from Pusan National University College of Pharmacy (Busan, S. Korea.  2002-2009), M.S. from Seoul National University College of Pharmacy (Seoul, S. Korea.  2009-2011), and a Ph.D. from Washington University (St. Louis, MO.  2012-2018).

My research focuses on frequent p53 mutations in solid cancers. I have been working to establish a library of TCRs that can target p53-mutated cancers for adoptive cell therapies.  We have started to treat patients with advanced cancers with these mutant p53-specific TCRs and I am really excited about this clinical trial. Outside of lab, I spent most of my time doing fun things with my three-year-old son.
