Sarcoma

Sarcomas occur in the soft tissues of the body, such as the muscle, fat, tendons, ligaments and blood vessels. Researchers are constantly searching for novel treatment options for these cancers. CCR investigators have previously made substantial contributions to the development of therapies for AIDS-related Kaposi sarcoma, including paclitaxel. Other CCR researchers are studying sarcomas in children and young adults, such as rhabdomyosarcoma and synovial sarcoma. We invite you to meet some of our principal investigators conducting research on this condition.
