Additional Information

Ms. Ecem Unal earned her B.Sc. in Neuroscience from the University of Maryland, College Park, in December 2022, and is pursuing an M.Sc. in Bioinformatics and Computational Biology, expected in May 2025. In January 2024, she joined the GMB, CCR, as a postbaccalaureate fellow. Her research focuses on developing a sequencing-free assay for early detection of bladder cancer and exploring role of APOBECs in cancer.
