Additional Information

Mr. Jacob Shakesprere is a senior at the University of Maryland, College Park majoring in Biological Sciences with a concentration in Physiology and Neurobiology. As a 2022 Summer Intern in the Banday lab, Mr. Jacob examined genomic regions to study noncoding somatic mutations associated with bladder cancer. His goal is to attend medical school and continue to explore research in cancer biology. In his free time, Mr. Jacob enjoys playing soccer, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
