Additional Information

Anna Grosskopf received her Ph.D. from the Georg-August University, Goettingen, Germany. Her research focused on early events in gammaherpesvirus infection, characterizing viral glycoprotein interactions with cellular receptors and identifying a novel receptor for the rhesus monkey rhadinovirus. Anna joined Dr. Laurie Krug’s Lab in 2022 to conduct her postdoctoral research on different aspects of KSHV infection and associated pathologies. Her current research focuses on elucidating the in vivo relevance of conserved gammaherpesvirus entry receptors and viral oncoproteins for primary infection and disease development.
