Additional Information

Makana Ioh is a post-baccalaureate CRTA researcher in the Laboratory of Receptor Biology and Gene Expression training under Dr. Efsun Arda. She graduated from the University of Hawai’i at Mānoa in May 2023 with a B.S. in Molecular Cell Biology. Her project in the Arda Lab focuses on functional characterization of  enhancer elements specific to human pancreas cell types.
