Additional Information

Gerard earned his BSE in chemical engineering from the University of Pennsylvania and has completed 3 years of his MD degree from Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. He plans to pursue a career in medical oncology and hopes to focus his research on advancing therapies to treat solid tumors. His current projects focus on engineering antibody and nanobody-based CAR T cells targeting GPC1 for the treatment of pancreatic cancer.
