Helena Muley Vilamú, Ph.D., is a pharmacist who spent several years studying the metabolic reprogramming that sustains cancer processes, such as chemoresistance in breast cancer. Currently, her goal is to study the metabolic vulnerabilities in IDH1-mutated gliomas to find new targets for oligodendroglioma treatment.
