Dr. Sameer A. Mir received his Ph.D. in Biological sciences from the Academy of scientific and innovative research (AcSIR), Delhi-India. Sameer’s research interest is to develop next generation cancer therapies using genetic engineering and cancer immunotherapy. In Dr. Hassan’s lab at NCI, his major focus is on developing effective mesothelin directed immunotherapies for patients with colorectal and gastric carcinomas, and the application of CRISPR/Cas9 Gene-Editing in cancer immunotherapy.
