Saliha  Majdoul received her PhD from the University of Paris Saclay in 2016 where she studied the entry steps of lentiviral vectors into hematopoietic stem/progenitors cells for gene therapy approaches under the direction of Dr. Anne Galy. After graduating, Dr. Majdoul joined the group of Antiviral Immunity and Resistance Section under the direction of Dr. Alex Compton at the NCI Frederick, NIH. Her work focuses on the cellular antiviral restrictions led by host factors against retroviruses infection. Following the completion of her post-doctoral fellowship, she joined the group of Dr. Naomi Taylor in an effort to contribute at the success of the group at generating new gene therapy protocols – especially in the CAR-T domain.
