Rida Kazmi earned her B.S. in Biochemistry from the University of the Punjab, Pakistan, in 2018. During her undergraduate studies, she focused on investigating single nucleotide polymorphisms in the human growth hormone gene within the local population. After completing her degree, she joined Chen lab at the National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research (NIDCR), where she studied the mechanisms of CTLA4-mediated anti-tumor activity under the guidance of Dr. Na Liu and Dr. Wanjun Chen. Now, as a Ph.D. student in the Georgetown University-GPP program, she joined Taylor lab and wants to contribute to the groundbreaking work being conducted in the Taylor lab.
