Additional Information

Natalia Yakobian is a fourth-year medical student at Saint Louis University School of Medicine.

She received her Bachelor of Science in Psychobiology from the University of California, Los Angeles, in 2019. Before attending medical school, she worked as a staff research associate, studying immune-related adverse events associated with immunotherapy. During medical school, she worked on a pre-clinical drug model of a novel treatment for autoimmune disease.

She joined the Nguyen lab in 2023 as part of the Medical Research Scholars Program (MRSP) to study the effects of transgenic cytokines and cellular therapies on the tumor microenvironment. In her free time, she enjoys cooking and exploring new museums.
