RESEARCH SUMMARY

Dr. Banerjee is a research biologist in the Flow Cytometry Core, overseen by Laboratory of Genome Integrity. The facility provides state-of-the-art multiparameter flow cytometry and cell sorting for NCI laboratories. Dr. Banerjee has extensive experience in cancer biology and immunohistochemistry.

As a biologist, Dr. Banerjee performs high-speed cell sorting in tube, plate and slide (based on the investigator’s need) on the three laser (11 to 13 parameters) FACSAria using complicated cell sorting software (Diva 8). She also participates  in developing new criteria and improving methodology and procedures for Flow Cytometry Core users.
