Congratulations to the CCR staff who have been awarded the NCI-NIA Joint Fellowship and the funding opportunity offered through the NCI-NIH and PIC3i Curie. A total of 5 projects were selected.
The intent of the new NCI-NIA Joint Fellowship Program on Cancer and Aging is to promote collaborations between NCI and NIA intramural investigators at the interface of cancer and aging. The award supports a postdoc in each PI’s lab for two years. The awardees are:

Barry O’Keefe, Ph.D., CCR and Myriam Gorospe, Ph.D., NIA - “High-throughput screen of senolytic compounds from library of natural products.”
