Additional Information

My name is Jon Salazar, a post-bac researcher under Dr. Maria Parkhurst. I received Bachelor of Science degrees in Physiology and Neuroscience and Pharmacological Chemistry from the University of California, San Diego. My undergraduate mentor, Dr. Ananda Goldrath, introduced me to memory T cells and that inspired me to pursue my graduate studies in activation and differentiation of T effector cells into long-lived immune memory against tumors. After learning as much as I can from Dr. Parkhurst and Dr. Rosenberg during my time at the NCI, I plan to return to graduate school to finish my PhD.
