Additional Information

Dr. Jalloh was a Post doc Fellow under the supervision of Dr.  Karpova, who manages the NCI Optical Microscopy Core. This facility specializes in live imaging, image deconvolution and microscopy quantification methods such as FRET and FRAP. Dr. Jalloh conducted research focusing on the regulation of gene expression by chromatin remodelers by observing protein interaction in vivo in live yeast cells. The Karpova research group interests include: the intracellular dynamics of chromatin remodelers, transcriptional activators, and co-activators; and the role of nuclear localization on gene expression as observed in live yeast cells by microscopy.
