Dr. Szabova has a breadth of experience in characterization of transgenic and targeted GEM models. Prior to starting her position at CAPR, she was a Research Fellow at the National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research, NIH. Her previous experience also includes a biologist position at the Institute of Experimental Endocrinology at the Slovak Academy of Sciences.

- Development and characterization of ovarian and pancreatic orthotopic allograft models, and optimization for evaluation of anti-cancer therapeutics.
- Complex surgical techniques for cancer model inductions.
- Characterization of GEM models including imaging, histopathology techniques, and molecular biology.
