RESEARCH SUMMARY
Dr. Liu received her Ph.D. from Northeast Normal University, Changchun, China. Dr. Liu's main focus is to achieve a more comprehensive understanding of the fundamental epigenetic and transcriptional mechanisms underlying cell state transitions to unlock new therapeutic strategies to target lineage plasticity in neuroblastoma (NB). In the future, Dr. Liu aims to use multi-omics approaches to identify critical transcription factors (TFs) that regulate NB trans-differentiation and sensitize NB to chemotherapy. In her leisure hours, she has a deep passion for yoga—a practice that bestows balance, tranquility, and inner strength upon her life.
