RESEARCH SUMMARY

Dr. Di Giulio received his PhD at the University of Rome "La Sapienza". With a strong passion for molecular biology, his academic and research career has been dedicated to molecular oncology, focusing on innovative molecular targeted therapies for high-risk neuroblastoma. Using advanced techniques such as barcode lineage tracing and mutational tracing, his recent research explores the molecular mechanisms underlying adrenergic/mesenchymal cell plasticity in high-risk neuroblastoma, aiming to decipher neuroblastoma heterogeneity to improve patient outcomes.

Outside the lab, Dr. Di Giulio shifts his focus from tracing cells to tracking stars. As an avid landscape astrophotographer, he constantly explores remote locations to capture the stunning beauty of our planet and the cosmos.
