RESEARCH SUMMARY
Sara is interested in the role of tumor suppressors in the evolution of the microenvironment and their contributions to metastatic spread. To this end, Sara contributed significantly in mouse models studies and especially in large data analysis to identify tumor suppressors that contribute to the terminal stages of breast cancer through immune regulation. She is interested in exploring targeted immunotherapy for cancer patients with inactivation or decreased activation of tumor suppressors.
