RESEARCH SUMMARY
Sara Thomas earned her M.S. in biochemistry from Penn State University. She has contributed to the NCI-Frederick mission as a biologist (Independent research project), mentor for trainees and lab manager. Her research project focuses on understanding the homeostatsis and differentiation of pluripotent embryonic stem cells (ESCs) during Wnt signaling using both mouse ESC tissue culture and mouse model systems. She has expertise in genomics, transcriptomics and proteomics.
