RESEARCH SUMMARY
Raju Chelluri, M.D, M.S is an attending surgeon in the Urologic Oncology Branch of the National Cancer Institute and is the Head of the Bladder Cancer Section.
He trained in Urologic Surgery at the University of Pennsylvania and completed his Society of Urologic Oncology Fellowship at Fox Chase Cancer Center, both in Philadelphia. He is experienced in complex surgical management of genitourinary tumors, with focus on urothelial malignancy of the upper and lower urinary tract. He specializes in the surgical treatment of bladder cancer and performs endoscopic, robotic, laparoscopic and open surgery, such as radical cystectomy. He is proficient in providing a wide variety of urinary diversions such as ileal conduit or neobladder. Dr. Chelluri is extremely dedicated to his patients and ensuring they receive the highest quality care and fostering open and frequent communication.
He has authored over 30 manuscripts and book chapters and regularly presents at national and international conferences.
