RESEARCH SUMMARY
Meisheng Xiao is a postdoctoral fellow in the RNA Biology Laboratory of the National Cancer Institute. He obtained his B.S. from the Anhui Normal University and his M.S. from the Kunming Institute of Zoology in China. He then moved to the Max Delbrück Center for Molecular Medicine (MDC) in Germany for his Ph.D. prior joining Jeremy Wilusz’ lab at UPenn in 2017 as a postdoctoral fellow. He joined the Functional Transcriptomics Section in November 2020 where he develops and applies CRISPR-based combinatorial screening tools for high-content phenotyping.
