RESEARCH SUMMARY
Dr. Sayers received her B.S in Bioengineering from Penn State University and her Ph.D. in Pharmacology from the University of Pennsylvania. She recently joined Dr. Thiele’s lab as a biologist but has been a member of the Pediatric Oncology Branch since 2016. Her research will initially focus on the characterization of the effects of a clinically relevant epigenetic inhibitor in neuroblastoma, particularly its effects on the phenotypic plasticity of neuroblastoma cells.
