RESEARCH SUMMARY
Dr. Kumari received her Ph.D. from the Department of Biophysics at the University of Delhi in India prior moving to the Institute of Human Genetics in Montpellier, France where she joined William Ritchie’s lab to study the impact of chromatin state on intron retention. In December 2022, Bandana joined the Functional Transcriptomics Section at the RNA Biology Lab where she applies computational approaches to predict and characterize phenotypically relevant splice isoforms.
