RESEARCH SUMMARY

Dr. Dias's research focus is to diagnose and treat adult patients with inherited myeloid malignancies. His current work is with patients who have GATA 2 deficiency and myeloid malignancy. In the future he plans to develop protocols to optimize hematopoietic cell transplant regimens for adult inherited myeloid malignancies such as DDX-41, ANKRD26, ETV6 and other germline disorders predisposing to myeloid malignancies. His areas of interest include: 1) Diagnose and treat adult patients with germline predisposition to myeloid malignancies and 2) Improve long term outcomes of adult allogeneic transplant survivors with inherited myeloid malignancies.
