RESEARCH SUMMARY

Abbie received a Bacholor of Science in Biochemistry and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Converse University in South Carolina. There she performed research in Dr. Will Case’s lab developing amperometric biosensors for the detection of cholesterol and other clinically-relevant biomolecules. She joined the Compton Lab in 2021 as a postbaccalaureate fellow. Abbie is characterizing the functional consequences of interactions between IFITM family members.
