Additional Information
Dr. Arfa Moshiri completed his Ph.D thesis in Molecular Medicine in the laboratory of Dr. Roberto Gherzi at San Martino Hospital of Genova. There, he focused on the role of RNA- binding proteins in the process of epithelial mesenchymal transition. In the Saloura Lab, Dr. Moshiri’s research focuses on SUV420H1 (KMT5B), a recurrently amplified chromatin modifier, and its function in the oncogenesis, cancer progression and the tumor microenvironment in human-papilloma-virus negative squamous cell carcinoma of the head and neck.
