Jacqueline Battaile is a Postbaccalaureate Fellow in the Experimental Immunology Branch of the National Cancer Institute. She completed pre-medical studies at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill before graduating with her M.S. in Physiology and Biophysics from Georgetown University in 2023. She joined Dr. Yousuke Takahama's lab in July 2023, where her research is focused on investigating the effects of the thymic microenvironment upon the positive selection of CD8 T cells. After completing her fellowship at NIH, she hopes to attend medical school and pursue a career as a physician scientist.
