Job Description
A post-baccalaureate fellow position is available in the Loncarek Lab, Centrosome Biology Section, within the Cancer Innovation Laboratory, CCR, NCI in Frederick, Maryland.
The focus of the laboratory is to investigate cellular mechanisms that regulate the number and architecture of centrosomes in normal and transformed human cells. The successful applicant will investigate how cell cycle regulators control centriole biogenesis, and will join our effort to dissect centrosome architecture in nanoscale resolution, using various super resolution microscopy approaches.
The fellow will benefit highly from rigorous training in molecular biology, biochemistry, advanced microscopy, mammalian cell culture, scientific writing, and from working in a collaborative group with an extensive network of domestic and international collaborators.
