All NIH Authors

As of April 7, 2008, all NIH employees must comply with the NIH Public Access Policy, which ensures that the public has access to the published results of NIH-funded research.

All NIH authors must adhere to NIH clearance, copyright, and public access policies and procedures before submitting their scientific manuscript for publication in a peer-reviewed journal.  All of the steps, policies, and forms related to this process, as well as frequently asked questions (FAQs) are available at Submission of Scientific Manuscripts for Publication
