RESEARCH SUMMARY

Yuto Shiode received his medical training in Japan with a PhD in Hepatology. He is board-certified in gastroenterology and hepatology with 9 years of experience in both basic and clinical cancer research.

His current research in the Laboratory of Human Carcinogenesis focuses on the transcriptomic profiles in liver carcinogenesis, as well as the study of immunology and the microbiome using human and mouse samples.

In his free time, Yuto and his wife enjoy spending quality time with their daughters.
