RESEARCH SUMMARY
Yasmine Mian received her B.S in Molecular Bioscience and Biotechnology from Arizona State University and joined the Cell Biology of Genomes group in 2019 as a post baccalaureate CRTA fellow. She uses high-throughput imaging to examine the unique gene regulatory elements of the human pancreas to identify mechanisms controlling gene expression in diseases like diabetes and pancreatic cancer.
