RESEARCH SUMMARY
Vijay Putatunda is a surgical oncology research fellow focusing on tumor metabolism in primary liver cancer.
He received his Doctor of Medicine from Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. He then went on to complete two years of general surgery residency at Rutgers.
His current research efforts in the laboratory focus on the interplay between tumor metabolic profiles and the response to immunotherapies. Vijay loves to travel to try novel cuisines.
