RESEARCH SUMMARY
Sarah Schiffers is a postdoctoral fellow in the Laboratory of Receptor Biology and Gene Expression branch of the National Cancer Institute. She graduated from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universitaet, Munich, Germany with a PhD in organic chemistry in 2019. After graduation, she joined the RNA processing in cellular development section, where she investigates how the RNA/modification interplay impacts translation. Upon completing her training at the NCI, Sarah aspires to continue a career in research and development of RNA-based therapeutics. After hours, she enjoys Trivia nights, hiking, and travelling.
