Cancer Patient Outcomes

Patient-centered outcomes assessment is a way for researchers to understand the effects of cancer and treatment regimes from a patient’s perspective. It measures things such as how a treatment will affect patients’ symptoms and day-to-day functioning. This research could ultimately empower patients, caregivers, healthcare providers and policy regulators to make more informed treatment decisions leading to better outcomes and better quality of life for patients. We invite you to explore the Office of Patient Centered Outcomes Research and to meet some of our principal investigators conducting research in this area.
