RESEARCH SUMMARY
Melina received her B.S. in Cell and Molecular Biology from Grand Valley State University, and upon completion joined the Takahama lab in 2019 as a post-baccalaureate fellow. She became a Biologist in 2020 and currently researches how the thymic microenvironment influences the development of CD8 T cells. In her personal time, she enjoys baking, ice skating, and yoga.
