RESEARCH SUMMARY

Katie Muilenburg received her Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Her research investigated targeted fluorescence-guided surgery for pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma. Katie joins the Laboratory of Human Carcinogenesis as an iCURE Scholar, her research focuses on understanding the epidemiology and immune landscape of liver cancer and investigating targeted therapies for liver cancer. In her free time, Katie enjoys playing instruments (piano and world flutes), baking, reading, and enjoying the outdoors.
