RESEARCH SUMMARY

Jyoti Roy is a postdoctoral fellow (Visiting) in the Laboratory of Receptor Biology and Gene Expression branch of the National Cancer Institute. She obtained her Ph.D. in non-coding RNA biology at National Institute of technology, India. She joined LRBGE in 2019, where she investigates how epitranscriptome affects translation of coding RNAs in context dependent manner and their physiological relevance in cancer progression. Upon completion of the tenure at NCI, she aims to pursue her career as an independent researcher in the area of RNA biology.
