RESEARCH SUMMARY

Ivy Vien joined the Experimental Immunology Branch of the National Cancer Institute as postbaccalaureate fellow in August 2021. She completed her degree at the University of Colorado Boulder in Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology. Previously she worked on designing bacteriophages to target major biofilm matrix components and currently she is investigating tissue origins of innate lymphoid cells involved in neuroinflammation in Dr. Vanja Lazarevic’s lab. After completing her fellowship, she aims to purse a Ph.D. in Bioengineering.
