RESEARCH SUMMARY

Ethan is a postbaccalaureate fellow in the laboratory of Receptor Biology and Gene Expression at the National Cancer Institute. He graduated from UCLA with a B.S. in Molecular, Cell and Developmental Biology in 2021 and is interested in developmental biology, epigenetics, and cancer. Ethan’s current work in Dr. Efsun Arda’s lab focuses on using single cell ATAC and RNA sequencing to investigate the epigenetic basis of pancreatic neuroendocrine tumor differentiation. After completing his fellowship at the NCI, he hopes to pursue a career as a physician-scientist. In his free time, he enjoys acapella, playing volleyball, and listening to podcasts.”
