RESEARCH SUMMARY
Eilene Deng graduated from the Pennsylvania State University with a B.S. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology in May 2022, where she studied how promoter-proximal pausing is regulated by transcription factors. In June 2022, she joined the laboratory of Vanja Lazarevic as a postbaccalaureate fellow. After completing her training, Eilene hopes to pursue a Ph.D. or M.D./Ph.D. in immunology.
