Dylan Rothbort is a budding scientist interested in exploring the role of gene regulation and epigenetics in tissue growth and disease. His current project involves exploring the gene expression signatures of lung capillary endothelial cells.

Biography
Dylan Rothbort, B.S.
Dylan’s experience in research started as a high school student in the lab of Steven Lipkin, MD PhD, exploring novel methods for colorectal cancer detection. He graduated from Haverford College with a senior thesis project under the supervision of Dr. Anthony Ashton, PhD, at the Lankeanu Institute for Medical Research, focusing on the role of alternative splicing in breast cancer pathogenesis. He is now at the NCI as a Postbaccalaureate Fellow looking to drive his research career into novel trajectories.
