RESEARCH SUMMARY

Cyrinne Achour is a postdoctoral fellow in the lab of Dr. Shalini Oberdoerffer at the Laboratory of Receptor Biology and Gene Expression (LRBGE) at the National Cancer Institute (NCI). She received her PhD in Molecular Biology from Umeå University, Sweden, in December 2022. During her PhD, she investigated the multifaced roles of the m6A RNA methyltransferase METTL3 in the context of breast cancer. In the Oberdoerffer’s lab, she will study how NAT10 contributes to gene expression regulation in cancer.
