RESEARCH SUMMARY

Chris is a biologist in the Experimental Immunology Branch of the National Cancer Institute. He began his research career as a CRTA summer student at NCI in Frederick, MD in 2012. Chris graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Science from Marshall University (Huntington, WV) in 2014, and worked for several years at the Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Health as a lab technician. He then moved to Germany in 2017 for graduate school, and completed a Masters in Microbiology at the Julius-Maximilians-Universität Würzburg (Würzburg, Germany) in late 2019. Chris also holds a graduate certificate degree from University of Maryland Baltimore in Science Communication. He joined Dr. Christian Mayer’s lab in August 2020.
